Breakouts: Workshops
In the conference's five 75-minute breakout sessions, practical workshops and academic research presentations will run simultaneously, offering delegates the opportunity to plan their own programme to include each type of session. The full programme for both strands of breakout sessions will be published in early September.
The workshops are primarily to give UK teachers access to new ideas and the best in current practice. They will also be of interest to delegates from other countries who want to find out more about media education in the UK. The workshops will be oriented to real classroom practice and will emphasise practical involvement and discussion. In each breakout session, there will be a choice of four workshops, each relevant to a different sector of education.
